West Tiger 3, West Tiger 2 & Tiger Mountain Trail — Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013

Issaquah Alps > Tiger Mountain

First time to do West Tiger 3 freeway to summit, preferring the woods by any route. At T3, encountered a couple of gents inquiring about their missing female companions, which I'd not seen on the way up. On to T2 and down to Tom's Crossing and stumbled onto the missing ladies who proclaimed themselves lost, escorted them back down to Tom's Crossing to get them over to T3 where I hoped they met their hiking companions. Note to all hikers: carry a map and know how to use it! We continued on to Fred's Corner and the TMT, finishing the loop where we started. Microspikes came in handy from T3 to T2 and down to Fred's. Nicely frozen ground eliminated all but a few mud spots. Glorious 8 miles!
