Reached the trailhead sometime after noon. The parking lot was full, with cars parked a long way along the road. Fortunately, someone just left as we arrived. The trail was crowded, but wide and well-maintained. The crowds dispersed on the large (0.5 ft tide) beach. Had good views of the Olympic Mountains. Also saw the first skunk cabbages, and salmonberries were starting to bloom.
