Mount Rainier Area > SW - Longmire/Paradise

I just got back from Colorado and saw the weather report was good for 1 day then rain for 4-5 days so off to Rainier I went. Paradise side for a change, didn't know it was a free day or I would have went outside the park. Oh well I got going early and was out of there by 12:30 when the parking lot got crazy! Just did a nice 4 hour loop. It felt like summer instead of fall, there's no color up here yet, lots of wildflowers still and some bugs. Mountain was out and so were the marmots, saw at least 20 of them! I looked and looked for bears but nothing.. Another great day in my fav park!
