The trail is in great shape. It's easy to follow. There is just a little mud in a few places. One huge tree is down but is easy to go over. We went straight up then came down the blowout loop so my old knees could have the easier downhill route. The views we good today but a lot is blocked by trees. We saw just one group of hikers heading up as we were almost down. This is one we will come back to often.
