Beautiful day on the trail; but want to report that the road FR 9030 is in fine shape. The forest service did a great job repairing the access to the Talapus trail. The road is good enough for any vehicle, though a low gear would help on the way down: No need for a 4wd or high clearance even; better than most FR's we've been on.
