We arrived at the Perry Creek trailhead at 8:30 and we were the only ones there. There were a couple cars over at Dickerman. It's the tail end of the fall colors, but we were happy with all the color both on the ground and across the valley. There's something about walking on crunchy fall leaves that makes you feel like a kid! We stopped and had lunch on boulders overlooking the valley and took in the beauty of the golden hues. Our original plan was to hike just to the falls but my hiking buddy was feeling tired so after soaking in the fall colors we decided it was time to grab a coffee. On the way back, we saw three people.
