From Stehekin Valley Road, we followed the signed "Buckner Lane" footpath to the orchard. Buckner Lane begins where Rainbow Creek crosses the road, and the trail follows the original irrigation channels into which water from the creek is diverted to the apple trees. This footpath was in good shape with several small bridges crossing the irrigation channels.
Once at the orchard, there are plenty of historic buildings and artifacts to check out and, if the apples are ripe, you can pick as many as you like.
