Short out-and-back hike from Ranger Creek to Deep Creek.
Road Conditions. Unsigned pullout off Hwy 410.
Trail Conditions. Impressive number of blowdowns, all cleared except one or two that are easy to step over, and two or three that are easy to duck under (but might be a problem on horseback). Ranger and Deep Creek were flowing nicely and both had proper bridges. Dry Creek was easy to cross on a makeshift bridge, or to hop across.
Highlights. Not a lot of views or fall colors on this trail, and you're often right above the road, but some pleasant sections of mossy forest away from the road.
Crowds. 1 other car in the pullout at 11am, and 2 other parties on the trail.
