I got to Lord Hill and realized that the large supply of hiking gear in the trunk of my car included one of my husband’s boots and one of mine. Apparently the matching set got taken into the house after our last hike. Rather than calling it quits, I decided to find a trail suitable for suede sneakers and Brightwater was just right.
The trails are in great shape. Lots of birds singing, colorful leaves and a few fun mushrooms. 🥾
