My son and a friend joined the annual Whatcom Intergenerational High School Mt. Baker trip as alumni to hike with another friend who's still a student. As chauffeur I tagged along on the hike.
A low ceiling left us in the clouds the whole time so no views today. Lots of fall color along the trail and a few whistling marmots. We went four miles round trip. Note to self: don't buy yard sale boots. My regular boots were drying out from yesterdays hike and the left one on my backups disintegrated first time out.
