Goat Lake is gorgeous, although it's a rocky, slidey trip. Lots of places to camp and plenty of happy overnight tents scattered around. Trail is in good shape. Flies bite

I would like to stay overnight at the Goat Lake as well and then hike to the rest of Ptarmigan ridge trail. However I could not find a map to show the location of the Goat Lake. When I checked a map along the Ptarmigan ridge, there is a lake shown, but not labeled so I wasn't sure. Can you help this?

Glad to help. The junction to Goat Lake is actually pretty obvious. Baker has been mostly hidden as you come around Coleman Pinnecle. When you go up a last pitch slope, over the last patch of snow, Baker will now be fully in view. Right and uphill is the way to Camp Keiser. To the left (South) you'll see campsites and the lake in the distance.

No running water at the usual places along the path. I got water from the stream that feeds into the lake
