Those hiking Little Wenatchee Trail should expect over forty downed logs and very brushy conditions on the ascent to the PCT. Allow extra time for diverting over and around downed trees. High brush can make navigating the trail quite challenging at times and tripping hazards are present due to a lack of ground visibility. Wildflowers are abundant along the upper ridges approaching the PCT including flowering heather, lupine, and paintbrush. The PCT also has a couple of logs down between Dishpan Gap and the Meander Meadow junction, which are passable. Please be prepared to dig cat-holes for your waste if camping at Meander Meadows. Bears have been sighted on this trail- plan adequate food storage and please do not leave any food or trash behind on your journey!
