Burroughs Mountain — Sunday, Jul. 19, 2026

It was our first visit to Rainer this year.  It was a beautiful day to be on the mountain. We visited all the three of Burroughs. This hike had some of the best views of Rainer I have ever experienced. I was talking with another hiker on the way up asking if they have see any goats. Goats are one my favorite animals, he told that he seen someone chasing the goats. It broke my heart to hear such a horrible story. We have to respect their land, please if you encounter wildlife keep a safe distance and always respect their backyard. I will be back to vist the goats in the near future. Happy trails
