Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm — Friday, Jul. 17, 2026

Great trip report from stefre for today.  They did a great job of describing the hike and today's conditions.  There were some spots of mud which were easy to cross.  The goats were plentiful and they were hanging out on the trail in a couple of places and there were some hiker backups.   I also saw a bunch of marmot hanging out and some smaller ones playing together.  In spite of the misty conditions, it was a beautiful hike with lots of wildlife.
