Trail in good shape all the way to mad lake. Several blowdowns as you get to within 4 miles of the lake, but easy to walk around or over for adults. Saw 4 groups of motorbikes, all cautious and courteous with hikers. We did find a boot one of the groups dropped - men’s size 8. Comment if this is yours and we’ll get it back to you!
