Lake Ann — Friday, Jun. 19, 2026

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway

We arrived at the parking lot just after 1 p.m. and there were still a few open spots in the lot (I’m assuming it was full earlier but some folks had already headed out by the time we got there).

The trail is in great condition aside from some trees down, none of which are too inconvenient to climb over.

There is only one small, flat snowfield left at the final approach to the lake, otherwise it is entirely melted out. There were some mosquitos out at the lake but it was bearable. Bug spray was a good call.

When we made it to the lake a little after 3 p.m. we were the only folks there and we had the place to ourselves for a good 30 min before anyone else arrived. Only one group of backpackers showed up while we there, I was really surprised how empty it was!

We originally planned to stay overnight but we got to the lake so early and were feeling antsy for more hiking so we ended up hiking back to the car around 5 p.m. and stopped into Dru Bru in Cle Elum on the way home.

Also, got engaged at the lake! To a partner I met through WTA :)
