This is a slow 'walk and talk' type of walk. Good for birdsong and mature trees but I was a bit underwhelmed by the flowers. Yes, there were the usual foamflowers, western starflower and spring beauty but no native shrubs in bloom at all. There were leaves of trillium and skunk cabbage and there was ripe salmonberries, which we left for the birds The pond was also a bit scummy. This may be a better walk in the early spring or late fall when there are mushrooms. Stop by if you're in the area, but don't waste that 5.50gal tank of gas getting here. NO DOGS are allowed. Loo stocked but needs to be emptied. Besides checking out a new place, a stop by Sunnyside Nursery made the trip worthwhile
