Did a counter-clockwise loop today, rolling the dice on the turbulent weather. Worked out for the most part!
This is my second trip here, since then the South Traverse trail to the summit has seen some great trail/saw work. Thanks to those who gave time!
Great views from the top, which is more like clear cut viewpoint on trail rather than a proper summit. Skipped the North summit since I did that last time.
Overall, this loop roping in the TMT is a real nice combination of forested trail, open roads and mini ridge-like switchbacks.
Parking is simple, no facilities available. Saw 30 other hikers braving the unknown today and 2 dogs.
