Multiple overlapping Forest service projects and wildland firefighter training happening today so accessing the trails was tricky. Lots of trucks driving up and down the forest service road after the gate. Three helicopters in the meadow which was intermittently very noisy, chainsaw crews out and about as well. Expect this to continue throughout the week.
Wildflowers still at peak with a wide variety of colors popping.
