Got my Mother’s Day hike early this year and it was a great day for a breath of fresh air.
The gun range was really loud when we got there. I didn’t notice it that bad on previous trips, maybe it was a weekday.
The flowers at the north end are pretty much spent but there still a lot of lovely flowers, particularly as you make your way around the south end.
It’s such a unique landscape. Really gets the imagination going.
