Colonel Bob Trail - Colonel Bob Peak — Saturday, May. 9, 2026

The first ~2 miles are free of fallen trees, with the exception of a couple of duck under ones, and most brush has been cut back. There are a few rough rocky areas but overall the trail is in good shape. We did not go above the 2 mile mark. Trilliums and a few other things are blooming. Saw some morels, mostly past their prime. Didn't see a single other person today and only one group yesterday we were there almost all day on nice clear cool days.
