Trip Report

Luther Burbank Park — Saturday, May. 9, 2026

Puget Sound and Islands
Turtle on the log

I didn’t see many trip reports on Luther Burbank Park, so decided I’d write one since we were in the area for an event and wanted to check out the playground/trails while there.
Trails are nice and wide, either or gravel or paved or boardwalk. This is a big park with playgrounds, picnic areas, beach and docks. Walking paths go all the way around. We really enjoyed the boardwalk and saw a turtle sunning. The beach area was nice and we stopped to dip our feet in. This would be a great family walk and stroller friendly.

Near the pea patch. You’ll have a few switchbacks coming down.
