Our weekly hike this week was to Sugar Loaf and Whistle Lake. We were a week or two early for the big showing of wildflowers we'd seen in past years here, but we did see a selection of wildflowers including plenty of fawn lilies, camas and a few clusters of checkered lillies and paintbrush. Gps logged 5 miles.
We arrived just before 8:30 to an empty parking lot at the Mt Erie TH. Only saw a couple of folks on our hike
Loo was clean and stocked with TP.
