It was a beautiful spring day to enjoy this trail. We started at Lake boring Park. You walked by the lake and then down the trail that parallel's coal Creek parkway. I never realized there is a wetland area with a small lake right next to coal Creek parkway that is not easily visible unless you're on the trail.
The portion of the May Valley trail that is closest to coal Creek parkway I thought was the most interesting part. After about a mile it becomes an old railroad grade and feels more like walking on a dirt road but still is very nice.
