If you would like to walk at a more meditative pace, this is your trail. It's mostly flat and there is an optimal ADA loop that's wide and graveled. There are a couple of blowdowns along the main river trail, not too hard to get around, but you will have to climb over and duck under them. We only hiked about halfway so I can't report on the conditions from the west TH. Lots of flowers opening trillium, yellow wood violets, salmonberry and coltsfoot. Bleeding heart and false lily of the valley are leafed, but no flowers yet. The water was a deep turquoise and with the brush not yet leaved out, there were more views of the river and mtns beyond. The loo was clean and stocked today.
