Zig Zag Trail, Hall Creek — Friday, Apr. 3, 2026

I didn’t notice all the clover by the trail under the trestle on the way up but I did on the way back down as I stopped to take.out some blowdowns. I managed to clear all but 2 blowdowns (too big for my little saw) all the way up to the roads. We started up towards Truck Summit but weren’t prepared for snow travel so went to the nice spot overlooking the Hall Creek drainage. Pee Wee took a nap in my arms after lunching. The sun felt good. It was quicker on the way back, of course. But some devils club still need clipping. I’ll get them next time if someone doesn’t beat me to it.
