We hiked the Poo Poo Point and the Chirico trails as a traverse, one team hiking north from the Chirico TH, the other hiking south from the Issaquah Community Center via the Rainier Trail to connect to the High School and Poo Poo Point trails. The community center is a good option for parking in an area that can be crowded near the trailheads. From there, follow the paved Rainier trail south and the east to the high school trail
Trail conditions are generally excellent along the entire route. There are a couple of recent blowdowns at upper elevations that could use some attention. We enjoyed fine views from both paraglider launch points on this busy corridor. THEM, Olympia.
