Lower Big Quilcene River — Tuesday, Mar. 31, 2026

We took the 7:55  ferry from Edmonds and arrived  at the TH around 9:30.   Only one other car  in the lot.

First 2-1/2 miles or so is an easy walk with a gentle slope to Bark Shanty Camp.  Nice camp area with a lot of logs to sit on. The next  2-1/2 miles or so  after crossing the bridge is a well maintained trail with moderate to gentle ups and downs to Camp Jolly.   

Bridge is out at the stream crossing at Camp Jolly so it's a tad tricky to get across.

Guide Book says its 10miles RT and our gps had closer to 11.

We didn't see any other hikers until our return when we saw two hikers coming up.
