This is more of an urban walk than a hike.
Plenty of parking at Marine/Boxcar Park, so that should not be a problem.
You can walk around the marina and see a few things there. A sundial, playground, and interpretive signs. Restrooms and several restaurants are here. Coffee and food at the old Weyerhaeuser house.
Going north you walk along the highway to the Everett Arboretum, there are some flowers blooming there now. There is some construction to the south of the park, but you should be able to walk around it.
