Today we drove from our campsite at Maryhill SP to view the beautiful White River Falls which is 30 minutes from camp. This is not a destination hike from Seattle, but it is a beautiful area to visit if you are camped in the area or need a travel break when traveling HWY 197. There is no fee and there a restroom with flush toilets and a host starting mid-March. The scree section at the start of the trail to view the lower falls doesn't allow us "Old Folks" to view the "Epic View " of both the upper and lower falls view, but I will add a link to when we did do it. This link also gives a history of the area. Many others were enjoying the beautiful day!
