It was a beautiful day for a hike.
The season has warmed up enough that they have put a porta potty at the trailhead once again
The trail is snow free all the way up to the ridge and continues to be snow free after you reach the ridge if you decide to continue going up
No need for micro spikes
As always, parking is free at the trailhead and there is no water available other than occasional small drainage streams on your way up
