Teneriffe Falls Connector, Teneriffe Falls & Mount Teneriffe — Monday, Mar. 23, 2026

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
Bridge at Connector trail junction-north end crushed by fallen trees.

Hiked Monday, 3/23. A few easy to navigate downed trees on Teneriffe Falls trail. Two larger obstacles on Teneriffe Falls Connector trail; including crushed railings on the bridge over Teneriffe Creek. Bridge is made of a metal beam, decking planks all solid as we crossed it. Another tangle of trees (a Big Leaf Maple & Cedar) as we descended on the Mount Teneriffe trail

Teneriffe Falls are terrific right now----flowing lots! All the side creeks also flowing, but posed no problem. Bridge on lower part of Mount Teneriffe Trail was 100% clear to cross.

Flora-Salmonberry buds starting to pop! No fauna (wildlife), some leashed  humans with their well behaved pups and some trailrunners. Pretty quiet trail day.

Views-even saw Mt. Rainier lurking on the horizon.

Trail work-someone has nicely sawed off many of the small branches on the wayward criss-cross of logs on the Connector Trail and on the bridge making passage over, under, or through them easier. Of course, some social trails being made around the first obstacle right at north end junction of Connector Trail.

A fine day in the mountains with my adult 'kids'.

Trees fallen across Connector trail right at trail junction.
Entangled Maple & Cedar on Mount Teneriffe Trail.
WOWZA falls!
