Fort Ebey State Park — Sunday, Mar. 22, 2026

Puget Sound and Islands > Whidbey Island
Fort Ebey State Park by rfadam

Choose your own adventure! Peaceful paths through woods with madrones, salal and rhododendrons and along bluffs with expansive coastal views. Trails are in great shape, very little mud, clear of branches and limbs. Some paths rougher than others. Download a map - it’s a maze, although all the paths are well marked. Hiked here on a Sunday and found the park delightfully uncrowded. Bet it’s amazing here when the rhododendrons are blooming.
