Spent the night at Palouse falls to see the Milky way!
I entered the park before sunset and stayed in the parking lot. I slept in my car till 2 am. There were 2 other photographers car camping too! We didn't see any rangers and they never locked the gates! however, If you ever want to spend the night here, be careful. The ranger sometimes closes the gate!
After 3 am, the milk way rose over the Palouse falls. before that, I saw an amazing Northern lights, that was unexpected!
This is the first time I watched the northern lights, I never managed to stay up late at night 😅

It was a surreal experience, saw some shooting stars too!
Temperature was below freezing, my car showed 28 degrees. 🥶
