Horseshoe Bend, Nooksack Falls — Saturday, Mar. 21, 2026

This was a fallback option. The river was roaring and the skies were blue. Unfortunately, the crossing of Coal Creek about a 1/3 mile in was too deep to get my daughter across. Some turned around and some went higher upstream and crossed. Afterwards we went to Nooksack Falls then stopped at the Canyon Creek Trail near Glacier Springs to take a turn on the swing and get a little more distance in. Beautiful day!
