I aimed for the Middle Fork trail, not 100% sure what conditions were like. A couple miles before the trailhead, we encountered a snow plow and a truck blocking the road. We stopped at the River Bend pullout and enjoyed the rain and the extremely swollen river for a bit. I decided that the trail would be too slushy, and the rain too much to be pleasant, so we turned around, but not before a lady stopped to also wait for the plow. She had just done Oxbow lake, which she said was soggy and slushy. So no hiking for us, but still a lovely drive, and I figure it's worth reporting the road conditions.

We drove out that direction today, too. We hiked at Camp Brown. Definitely wet, cold and slushy!

It was a fun adventure, at least! We went to Snoqualmie Falls afterwards too. It was a good day for that!
