My hiking buddy and I were doing some driving/scouting for our ODT bikepacking trip next year and stopped off at the Peabody creek trail for a change of pace and some time under the trees! Thankfully the rain held off while we followed the creek for a couple miles up to the 800ft topo line. The trail was super slick in spots with plenty of mud and a banana slugs : ) Beautiful little hike with a plethora of ferns, lichens, and bird song!
