Had some wild weather on the way down from Bellingham but it turned out to be a decent day at Tiger Mountain. We did get a little snowfall up top but on the way down the sky yielded some blue and by the time we reached Bellevue it was downright sunny.
Snow at the bottom was a few inches. Around .9 miles the depth grew and ended up about 18 inches on top. Spikes were useful. Many boots out on the trail made a compacted, deep track with soft powder when you stepped off to let someone pass. There are quite a few trees down but nothing challenging to navigate. By the time we were nearing the bottom there was a lot of slush and some mud. Overall, it was a nice day for this hike.
