Trails Hiked

The Wildside Trail near the Redtown Trailhead is officially closed. The partially flooded trail section at the beaver pond is passable but beyond, the trail is covered with downed or bent down trees and bushes. We encountered windfall throughout our stroll. There was about two inches of slush on the trails. The snowfall provided a a rare pleasure, beauty and relative quiet. On this Friday afternoon there were few visitors.

The wider trails were passable - as far as we went, which was not far.
