West Tiger 3, West Tiger Railroad Grade & Poo Poo Point — Monday, Mar. 2, 2026

Did a loop from high point trailhead to west tiger 3 viewpoint, then 0.4 miles down on section line trail to west tiger railroad grade trail for about 1.6 miles, then one view trail to its intersection with high school trail to poo poo point. Return via high school trail, along the power lines, bus trail and back to west tiger mountain 3 trail. Total 10.5 miles and 2550 feet elevation gain.

Section line trail segment brief though it was and in fair condition, needed a slow cautious descent. The west tiger railroad grade trail was passable but clearly much less used. Some stream crossings were deeper gullies needing caution but otherwise mostly flat trail.

The west tiger 3 trail and poo poo point trail were in great condition as always.
