The road to the trailhead is full of potholes but can be navigated with care by any vehicle. The old cedar is incredible in and of itself, but the short little lollipop trail beyond is also worth a visit to see other lovely old growth trees, and the nurse logs in action renewing the forest. There are no facilities at the trailhead, but there are facilities at nearby Kalaloch and Ruby Beaches. Happy Hiking!
