Beautiful little river trail, but we didn't get to make it very far. I've never hiked this trail before so I don't know what it's like normally, but at about half a mile, the trail sort of ends at a concrete wall and boulder field. We weren't sure how to really get around it. It seemed like the icy stream might be the trail, but with small kids, we didn't feel like figuring out if that was the proper way forward. So it was a little underwhelming as an outing with the kids.
