Finally some winter weather this time out in the Methow. Took the kids on a xc ski/sled trip first through the open meadows and then looping back through the mixed riparian forest alongside the river. This was a lovely interpretive trail with lots of interesting info to read about with the kids. The snow is still thin in parts but we managed to get by without scraping the skis too much. Great wandering out by Mazama and a great post hike snack at the Mazama store.
