Stunning but rough terrain, sometimes steep. There is finally some decent snow but it feels a bit like spring back there with lots of snow bridges across the numerous tree falls and stream crossings. Snow shoes required, snow was soft in places and icy in others. Enjoy but be careful, I didn't see a single other person and would have felt safer with a buddy. Trail is sometimes obvious but sometimes not, a GPS track is highly recommended.
Stats: 3.6 miles, 1140 ft elevation gain/loss, just under 2 hours. I am a moderate/fast paced hiker who hikes weekly.
