Beautiful day for a hike, and perfect hike for a day where I still wanted to sleep in for a little extra. Road was clear and in good condition with minimal bumps and when I arrived a bit after 11 there were about a dozen cars parked around the Two Dollar Trail trailhead, but still plenty of space to park on the side but off the road. Trail up to the lake was totally clear and not muddy or slippery. Trail around the lake is fully clear of obstacles and additionally in good shape. It's obvious that a group has been up here recently clearing/building drains and clearing the debris that the previous report mentions. Things looked great out here and this was definitely a good choice for the day! Saw more trail runners than hikers, plenty of both, one group on bikes, but didn't feel too crowded by any means.
Love the Chuckanuts in the winter and this old favorite did not disappoint!
