A beautiful, but freezing, sunrise at Discovery Park. Parked at the north parking lot to only a couple of cars at 7 when it was still dark.
We (unsurprisingly) encountered very few people in the morning. We spent a majority of our time at the park on the beach watching the sunrise. Rainier and the Olympics were lovely. The lighthouse was on when we first arrived, though turned off during our time there.
The trails were in great shape, with only one puddle we had to navigate near the parking lot (that was partially frozen!).
The restrooms near the beach were closed, though there were some very clean port-a-potties in their place.
