The recent ice storm created a spectacular visual effect towards the top, which is well worth the hike
Occasionally ice covered in the shady spots as you head up, it is consistently ice covered for the top third
Trail maintenance did a great job removing the downed trees so the trail itself is in good shape with only a few spots where root balls created a divot
You will want to have micro spikes for the top portion
