Hiked up to Snoquera Falls counterclockwise and returned the same way. Total hike was just 3 miles and about 700 feet altitude gain.
There were a little snow and ice in the parking lot. The temps were just 36 degrees at 11 am. When we returned it was 39 degrees. Apparently, the high pressure caused the hike itself to be much warmer. My little temperature gage read 55 degrees.
There was no snow or ice on the trail. I did see some snow while at the falls.
There were several downed trees, but they did not cause any major hassles getting by. My last photo shows a downed tree just above the Snoquera stream crossing. There is a route around the downed trees.
Though I did not cross the river below the falls, it did not look to difficult. One photo shows the river crossing.
