The lower bathrooms in the restored meadow/wetlands area are DISGUSTING. The last time they were serviced was Dec. 31, 2025. Come on Snohomish County you can do better. DO NOT EVEN OPEN THE DOOR of EITHER HONEY BUCKET bathroom. The upper one in the parking lot was last serviced on Jan. 14 and is fine.
Trail in great condition. Muddy in the expected areas but not bad. Beautiful filtered light through the trees. Pleased to see the shortcut in the upper meadow is blocked and signed for restoration. Really pleased to see everyone staying off it.
Parking lot full when I arrived at 1:30 today Friday, but someone was finishing their visit and a spot opened in mere minutes.
Please address the lower bathroom situation.

How was access under the tracks? Hoping the creek is low enough for easy beach access.

No problem now that the expansive estuary restoration has been completed. I think I was there at high tide.
