Mount Spokane State Park - Trail 131 — Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025

Goodbye to 2025! This is a fun semi-annual hike for me, when conditions are good for it: the downtown Spokane fireworks display starts at 9pm on New Year's Eve and only lasts about 5 minutes or so (plus neighborhood fireworks happening all over the place). It's just enough time to watch it from really really afar, then make a quick exit back to the trailhead in order to leave before the park closes at 10pm. Cold & clear for this year, so an excellent way to close out the year.
